The Hob's Bargain
Not one of Briggs' best. I personally found the book very slow to start and found it difficult to engage with the characters. The magic system didn't seem as well explained as in other books, and the resolution seemed rather rushed and incomplete.I found it far easier to become involved in her Dragon Duology (Dragon Bones and Dragon Blood) which is a far better read in my opinion.
